2013 World Diabetes Congress

The 2013 World Diabetes Congress, organized by The International Diabetes Federation, will be held in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 2 to 6 December 2013. It will bring together the whole diabetes community attracting over 12,000 scientists, health professionals, health ministers, policy-makers, industry, media, and people with diabetes and provides a global platform to share knowledge, the results of the leading scientific advances and practical aspects related to diabetes care, education and advocacy.
Over 400 speakers and 100 exhibitors will be given the platform to showcase their diabetes expertise, research and breakthroughs in the field of diabetes. Participants include educate physicians, scientists, nurses, educators, endocrinologists, diabetologists, research scientists and other healthcare professionals, as well as government representatives, policy makers, people with diabetes, representatives from IDF member associations and members of the press.
