The Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society (APPES) was formed in 1999 to provide a professional forum for those with an interest in Paediatric Endocrinology in the Asia Pacific region.

Following the highly successful Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine meeting
held in Sydney in 1996 it was considered that our region with its large
population, geographical area and unique issues would benefit from having its own regional forum. Today APPES has members in 14 countries throughout the Asia Pacific Region. > more about APPES

International Journal of Paediatric Endocrinology
APPES is pleased to affiliate with the  International Journal of Paediatric Endocrinology. The aim of International Journal of Paediatric Endocrinology is to publish important peer-reviewed clinical, translational, and basic research, which can support the academic goals of the worldwide paediatric endocrine community. The journal will foster communication of information among paediatric endocrinologists and their Societies around the world, in an open access format with immediate online dissemination.
