The following Terms and Conditions apply to all Participants to Fellows’ School 2021.

1.DEFINITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions are used:

1.1. Fellows’ School 2021 refers to the 22nd APPES Fellows’ School Meeting

1.2. APPES refers to the organization which stands for the Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society behind the Fellows’ School 2021.

1.3. Registration refers to the act of filling in and submitting the Registration Form and fulfilling the financial obligations specified therein.

1.4. A Participant is a person who registers for the Fellows’ School 2021.

2.PAYMENT

2.1. By clicking the Submit button in the online Registration Form, the Participant is liable to pay the indicated Amount Due for registration to Fellows’ School 2021

2.2. Payments to the Fellows’ School 2021 shall be made by bank transfer forms or means of payment (e.g. Credit cards) are also accepted. During the Fellows’ School 2021, additional forms of payment are not accepted.

2.3. All bank transaction costs shall be covered by the Participant, also in the case of refunds being paid by the APPES.

3.REGISTRATION

3.1. Registration is mandatory for everyone attending the Fellows’ School 2021.

3.2. Registration is personal, and cannot be done as a group, or on behalf of someone else.

3.3. Cancellation of Registration may be requested in writing by sending an e-mail to: appes@issjp.com.

3.4. A Registered Participant not showing up to attend the Fellows’ School 2021. (in part or in whole) is not entitled to refunds: No-show is not in any way equivalent to Cancellation.

3.5. In the unlikely event that the Fellows’ School 2021 itself would be cancelled, the Participant will receive a 75% refund on the paid participation fees.

4.PROTECTION AND USE OF DATA

4.1. The data provided by the Participant for Registration may be used by the secretariat of Fellows’ School 2021 for internal use. Internal use includes logistics planning, accounting, website, databases, mailing lists, as well as the on-line and printed program guide.

4.2. APPES will never disclose any of the Participant’s information to third parties.

4.3. Fellows’ School 2021 must not be recorded (audio/video) by anyone without prior and express written authorization from the APPES

5.GENERAL REGULATIONS

5.1. In case of infringement of these Terms and Conditions, APPES reserves the right to refuse or cancel the Participant’s Registration without reimbursement of expenses.

5.2. All points not covered herein are subject to the decision of the Manager of Fellows’ School 2021.
